Tea Party Bonanza!

I love the movie Alice in Wonderland.  

That being said all this week Wild Olive had tea party posts.  Geared towards having an amazing tea party,  taking great pictures, recipes, etc.   You can imagine my excitement.  I love her blog and decided to join in on the fun.  Here is how I celebrated this fantastic event.

This little mouse is anxious for some tea.   I must say I really love working with watercolors now! It was tons of fun painting this scene.

71-77 of 365 Owls

Most of the Owls this week are in correspondence with something that happened that day.  Enjoy!

Day 71-  Boxes are everywhere.  It's official... I can't keep ignoring it... we have started the moving process.  Makes me sad to leave Hawai'i. happy to finally live in a place that people can afford to vacation at and therefore visit us. 

Day 72-  What an adventure we had today!  Lost the keys... found them... safety check on the car... passed... second hand bookstore shopping... scored 3 books for LC and 1 for myself!

Day 73-  Being reading The Lord of the Rings and was inspired to create a written language for Owls.  In that language I decided to write the day "Wednesday."

Day 74-  Created a button magnet.  I am definitely making more of these especially since it was cheaper to buy a big pack.

Day 75-  Just a painted orange owl.

Day 76-  Our last time at  the Fun Factory in Pearlridge.  Turned in all our tickets for prizes and man did we get a ton of stuff.  Not that we needed more.

Day 77-  Quote that I liked.  Had my son help me with the painting.

Hope your week was as fun and delightful as mine was.  Now to relax and enjoy some family time with the family.  See you Tuesday!

64-70 of 365 Owls

Forgive me for the lack of materials in the next 2-4 weeks.  We are in the process of moving back to the mainlands.  Therefore, I have packed most of my supplies and am left with my watercolors.   I will try and be as creative as possible.  Thank you for understanding!

Day 64-  I was perusing a magazine laying around the house when I came across an add for a lemon squeezer.  Owl #64 is pretty unique. 

Day 65-  Husband said to draw and owl super hero.  That is precisely what I did.  Owl #65 is Super Owl.  My second owl with wings spread. 

Day 66-  Created my own paintbox in lue of the moving process.  Also, saved about $15 by creating my own watercolor kit.  And I have double the supplies of what the kit I was looking at would have given me.  Owl #66 is a Paint keeper.

Day 67-  Nothing but straight lines all around.  Owl #67 is an Angular Beauty.  I love it.

Day 68-  Owl on a card.  Owl #68 is a blank note card.

Day 69-  Apologies for the dreary looking owl.  The hubby spent a better part of the day in the hospital.  Hence, Owl #69 is a sickly little fella.  The pink building is the hospital he was at.

Day 70-  Day spent with the family.  Calls for an owl family as Owl #70.  Meet the Brown family.

Hopefully I get pretty skilled with watercolors. I love working with them.

57-63 of 365 Owls

O.k.   I have been doing lots of themed weeks.   It's is really easy to do themes.   I have a plan of action for everyday.  I think that I will plan my owls ahead of time. This way I don't get stuck doing just a drawing at around 11 at night.  hahaha! 

Anyways, all of the owls this week are done on ATC's.  2 1/2 x 3 1/2 in. cards, in watercolors.  I seriously love working with watercolors now! Enjoy!

 Least Favorite is Owl #61 it was supposed to be a nesting doll owl and well like the hubby said it looks like a chicken! My favorite is Owl #60 The Cowboy!

50-56 of 365 Owls

Day 50-  This little guy will keep your place in any book.  Owl #50 is just the perfect bookmark.

Day 51-  Found a cool article in one of my parenting magazine about homemade finger paints.  That's just what me and my son did for Owl #51.

Day 52-  Crayola markers make for great temporary tattoos.  Owl #52 is my first flying owl.

Day 53-  Today Punk Projects had a Tutorial for Paper Bag Owl Puppets DIY.  Naturally I had to check it out.  You should too. It was a great project and my little guy loves this puppet.  Owl #53 is an owl puppet.

Day 54-  Today I was clueless on what owl to do.  Owl #54 is a confused owl!

Day 55-  This little guy is in my journal.  Inspired by our day at the pool.  Meet Owl #55 scuba owl.

Day 56-  I had a plain white box that I bought to store photos in.  Now if you know me you know plain is not my cup of tea.  So, of course I had to do it up a bit.  Owl #56 is keeping my photos nice and safe.
